Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Move2Money mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Move2Money ("we", "us", "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
The App is currently available in the European Union. We make no representation that the App is appropriate or available for use in other locations.
3. Account Registration
To use the App, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and creating a password. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. How the Platform Works
Move2Money is a fitness-to-finance platform where users earn money by walking and running.
Races: Hourly race pools are created automatically (1K, 5K, and 10K step targets). Each race lasts 60 minutes from creation. Users join by paying an entry fee in tickets.
Ranking: Participants are ranked by total steps completed. The highest step count wins. In case of a tie, the participant who finished first wins.
Prizes: The prize pool is funded by entry fees. After a platform fee, prizes are distributed to top finishers (1st: 50%, 2nd: 30%, 3rd: 20% by default).
Challenges: Sponsored or community challenges with varying rules, durations, and prize structures may also be available.
5. Tickets & Payments
Tickets are the in-app currency used to enter races. Tickets can be purchased through the App using real currency via our payment processor (Stripe).
All purchases are final. Refunds are only issued in cases of technical error on our part. Ticket prices and entry fees may change at any time.
Prize winnings are credited to your in-app vault balance and can be withdrawn according to our withdrawal policies.
6. Fair Play & User Conduct
You agree to:
- Use the App honestly and not attempt to manipulate step counts, GPS data, or any other tracked metrics
- Not use any automated tools, devices, or methods to artificially inflate your activity
- Not create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage
- Not interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
We employ anti-cheat systems that monitor step cadence, GPS speed, and sensor data. Violations may result in disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and account suspension or permanent ban.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Move2Money and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Move2Money shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Service interruptions or technical failures
- Inaccuracies in step counting or GPS tracking
- Actions of other users
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Always consult a healthcare professional before starting any fitness programme. The App is not a substitute for medical advice.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Account deletion is scheduled for 30 days after the request, during which you can cancel the deletion by logging back in.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Any outstanding vault balance will be handled according to our withdrawal policies.
