Yes, it's really real money.

Where do the prizes come from?
You spend tickets (a Start Pass) to enter a race: 1 for a 1K, 3 for a 5K, 5 for a 10K. Those entries form the race's prize pool, which is paid out to the top finishers by skill (50 / 30 / 20 by default). Sponsor tournaments are funded by brands. No random draws, no pyramids, no tokens. Your result is decided by verified performance.
How do I win if I'm not fast?
You only race people doing the same distance in the same race, and the top three always share the prize 50 / 30 / 20. Pick the tier that fits you (1K, 5K or 10K), show up and finish strong.
What stops someone from cheating?
Every race is tracked with GPS plus your phone's step counter and accelerometer. Rule-based checks flag impossible pace, GPS teleports, treadmills, broken step counts and over-long pauses, and submissions are signed to prevent tampering. Suspicious results are reviewed before any payout.
When and how do I get paid?
When a race closes, the organizer pays your prize straight to the account you used to enter, by SEPA transfer using your encrypted bank details. There's no wallet to top up: you only ever buy passes or get paid.
Is this gambling?
No. Races are skill-based contests: your payout depends on verifiable performance, steps and speed, not chance. There's no betting and no random outcome; you win by finishing near the top of your race.
Do you sell my step data?
No. We make money from race passes and subscriptions, not your data. Your movement data is used to verify races and is yours to delete with your account.
